II. Annual Review Process and Required Documents
Basic materials:
For businesses: a copy of their business license, proof of tax payment (investment-related indicators must meet the tax threshold, such as RMB 50,000/year for the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge port and RMB 150,000/year for the Shenzhen port), and a credit report.
Vehicle: Vehicle registration certificate, compulsory traffic accident liability insurance policy (must be valid), vehicle and vessel tax certificate, vehicle inspection report (for vehicles older than 6 years).
Driver: ID card, driver's licenses from both locations, business visa, and proof of no major traffic violations.
Special materials:
Guangdong Z license plate: Foreign-invested company business registration certificate, restricted area permit, circulation license plate, customs inspection and quarantine certificate.
FV license plate: Mainland enterprise tax payment certificate (starting from RMB 300,000/year) and vehicle registration file.
III. Application Process:
Online application: Log in to the official website of the Traffic Management Bureau of Guangdong Provincial Public Security Department or the website of the Hong Kong Transport Department, fill in the application form and upload the materials.
Document review: Relevant departments verify the company's operations, vehicle technical condition, and driver qualifications.
Payment and vehicle inspection: Please consult online customer service for payment of license plate fees .
Registration procedures: Take the approval card to the customs and border inspection departments to complete the registration and update the passage permissions.
IV. Annual inspection cycle for Guangdong-Hong Kong dual license plates:
An annual inspection must be conducted every 12 months.
It is recommended to apply 1-2 months in advance to avoid expiration due to system queuing.
